Amendments to quotation will be permitted if received in writing prior to the specified closing date. Responses received by email shall use the email receive timestamp as the official bid submission time. The Owner is not obligated to honor bids received after the closing time due to email server delays or system outages. Each Applicant is solely responsible to ensure that their response is received at the correct place and on time. Any Response received after the stated closing time for receipt of responses will be marked as to date and time received and returned unopened. Any changes to the Contract Documents will be issued by means of written addenda and emailed out and will form part of the tender. No amendment of any kind to the tender is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum. Upon submitting to this tender, bidders will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that have been posted and deemed to have considered the information for inclusion in the proposal submitted. The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted. The Municipal District of Greenview (MD) is looking to retain a Contractor to collect, sort, and dispose of the residential, commercial, co-op and enterprise recycling material from within the Hamlet of Grande Cache (Hamlet) and surrounding area. The residents within the Hamlet of Grande Cache place their recycling into MD supplied 65L totes on pick up day. The MD currently collects residential recycling collection biweekly on Mondays, and takes about 1 day to complete all of the residential recycling collection. The residential recycling is co-mingled. The commercial businesses place their recycling in 4-yards bins. Commercial collection for the Hamlet currently takes the MD between 2-4 hours twice a week to collect all the commercial recycling bins. The commercial businesses only place cardboard in their bins. The Co-ops and Enterprises places their recycling in 4-yard bins and currently collection takes place as needed. The co-op and enterprise recycling is co-mingled.
