Renovation of a multi-residential development in Marina del Rey, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Marina Manor Senior Public Housing Development Buildings I & II Pipe Coating Project located at 3401 Via Dolce and 3405 Via Dolce, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292. Bids must include all completed forms contained in Appendix B - Required Forms. Failure to complete these forms may result in a determination that the bidder is non-responsive and/or non-responsible. Bidders shall guarantee their bid for a minimum of 240 days. The scope of work for this project includes: Water quality testing before and after coating Pressure testing of the water supply pipes before and after Removal of build-up corrosion, scale, rust inside existing plumbing pipes - maximum grit size 12. Removal of abrasive materials used to removal build-up Application of approved epoxy coating lining of plumbing pipes Replacement of all Shower/Tub cartridges and stem valves Replacement of all Angle valve shut-off at hot and cold outlets Replacement of all Flex water supply lines Replacement of all Faucet aerators Minimum number of valves Removal of all handles on existing valves epoxied open Verification of an even coat application by picture, minimum two locations New pipe "T" to be installed vertically Repair damaged wall areas with green board Patch and paint as necessary - touch up ETC . . . This is a HUD Section 3 Contract and all Bidders must meet or commit to achieving Section 3 established requirements, including benchmarks for Section 3 workers and Targeted Section 3 workers to be considered a Section 3 responsive bidder and eligible for a contract award. In submitting a bid, each Bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the IFB package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Bidder who refuses to execute said standard LACDA contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids. 5% Bid Bond Required at Bidding 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond Completion within 220 calendar days
