Description of Work / Scope of the Contract The Work covered in the Contract Documents generally includes deferred maintenance at the Fish Creek Wildlife Observation Site. Work items include the demolition and replacement of existing timber boardwalk posts and hardware as well as repair of a sinkhole in the paved parking area. The site is an active brown bear and black bear area in a remote location without communications. The site is adjacent to an anadromous stream requiring protection from construction impacts. Minimize impacts or potential harm to wildlife, the creek, existing recreation facilities to remain, and the surrounding landscape. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract.
