Project Overview: Frederick County is requesting quotes for the cleaning, preparation and painting of the exterior walls of the Public Safety Building - Ancillary Building, located at 1080 Coverstone Drive, Winchester VA 22602. Selected contractor shall use Sherwin-Williams Spot Prime LX02W0050 and two (2) coats of A89W02151 or equivalent product. The selected contractor shall provide all labor and materials to adequately prepare all masonry surfaces and paint the exterior of the Ancillary Building (footprint approximately 7,831 sq ft). The Contractor shall provide primer, paint, equipment, labor, supervision and all other necessary supplies to perform the work. Contractor shall pressure wash all surfaces prior to painting. Contractor shall ensure painting surfaces are free from dust, oil, grease, dirt, mildew, loose rust and other materials and properly prepare the surface to receive the paint, ensuring complete and even coverage and adequate adhesion of the paint to the surface. Contractor shall be responsible for measuring exterior surfaces for the purchase of materials needed.
