TIMELINE: Request for proposal from qualified proponent or company that will facilitate and coordinate portions, roles and responsibilities of the BC Parks Impact Assessment Process to support in expanding and enhancing opportunities for outdoor recreation, including new campsites, trails and upgrades to facilities is closed, preferred proponent is unreleased. Project may be updated when it has been approved to bid for construction. If/when project may proceed is undetermined at this time. *Starting in 2021, BC Parks is investing $21.5 million over three years to expand and enhance opportunities for outdoor recreation, including new campsites, trails and upgrades to facilities. In the West Coast Region, there is the possibility of 3 projects with resulting contracts up to a combined value of $58,200.00. In the South Coast Region, there is the possibility of 21 projects with resulting contracts up to a combined value of $231,000.00. The successful proponent(s) will be offered contracts based on active projects between April 1st, 2022, and December 1st, 2023. All contracts will be completed by March 15, 2024.
