Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Louisville, Kentucky. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 12, 2022, bids were canceled. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The scope of the work is to construct a pedestrian tunnel under US 31W (Dixie Highway) just north of Centennial Avenue. Work to be performed will include reconstruction of approximately 100 feet of US31W and maintaining traffic during construction. All questions should be submitted in writing no later than March 31, 2022, 4:30 PM EST via email to Albert Zimmerman, P.E. (azimmerman@qk4.com) responses will be provided by April 4, 2022, 12:00 PM EST. It is the intent of the City of Radcliff to award the construction contracts by April 18, 2022 and gives notice to proceed immediately. A Pre Construction meeting will be scheduled upon issuance notice to proceed. No work shall be performed until May 1, 2022. Bidding Requirements and Conditions and Award and Execution of the contract shall be in accordance with the Kentucky Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2019 edition, and all updates herein. Bid submittals will be reviewed by the Mayor to verify all requirements set forth herein have been met to ensure bidder is responsive. Bid submittals deemed non-responsive will be ineligible from further consideration and returned to the contractor.
