Site work and paving for a road / highway in Athens, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following: Roadway Paving Contract: Athens Borough is receiving bids for the following: Contractor will perform approximately 6,390 SY of roadway surface milling, furnish and place approx. 1,285 ton of 19 mm asphalt binder course. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders for each contract. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the bid to each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply to projects, wage rates will be provided. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
