Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project will incorporate 3 scopes of work which will be bid under one package: Replacement/installation of Control Air compressors in 26 buildings on campus; replacement of Hopkins Hall existing Johnson Controls with a Delta Control system; upgrade of Hagerty Hall existing room-level Johnson Controls with Delta Controls. The air compressor scope has been prepared and estimated; electrical permit will be required. Hopkins Hall Controls upgrade has been developed and estimated as well. Scope and documents will need to be developed for the Hagerty Hall room-level controls upgrade. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Mark Hartmann at hartmann.16@osu.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). Questions will be answered and posted to the Opportunities page on the OFCC website at on a regular basis until one week before the response deadline. The name of the party submitting a question will not be included on the Q&A document. This project includes asset tagging. The Primary firm submitting for the project is required to have the expertise capable of meeting this prerequisite and is responsible to support their consultants to meet this requirement. The Asset Tagging Process Diagram, Asset Worksheet Template, and LOD Matrix can be accessed via the OSU FOD website under Design Guidelines, Specifications, Standards; Specifications and Standards; Building Information Modeling (BIM). The project and construction budget as listed in this RFQ is estimated. The project has been approved for design services only. This request is for Architect/Engineer (A/E) to provide design and project management to establish the schematic design concept and begin design development. The university may amend the A/E contract upon approval for construction documents, bidding, construction contract administration and post-construction services. For projects advertised with an appropriately developed Program of Requirements (POR), upon award of the Agreement, commence with Design. For projects without such a POR, upon award of the Agreement, commence by developing the Program of Requirements.
