Lake Application of Aluminum Sulfate and all equipment, labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, plant and all other items incidental or necessary thereto, in and for said District, according to the Plans and Specifications for said improvements. The extent of the work involves the following items: The buffered alum treatment project is to apply aluminum sulfate (alum) and sodium aluminate to the Riverside Lakes boating and fishing lakes using a surface injection system to inactivate sediment phosphorous and to reduce internal phosphorus loading. All work performed in accordance with the General Requirements in the Plan Documents. The treatment application period for the alum treatment is May 3, 2022 through June 13, 2022. The extent of the work consists of the effectuation of the items listed below and other related preparatory and subsidiary work from the issuance of Notice to Proceed: ITEM DESCRIPTION UM .UNIT UNIT 1 Mobilization 1 LS 2 Aluminum Sulfate- Boating Lake 16,56 GAL 3 Sodium Aluminate- Boating Lake 8,283 GAL 4 Aluminum Sulfate- Fishing Lake 3,397 GAL 5 Sodium Aluminate- Fishing Lake 1,699 GAL Each bid shall be in a Separate Sealed Envelope and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than $2,000.00, and such certified check or bid bond shall be payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 177 of Douglas County, Nebraska as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractors and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 45 days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities.
