Inquiry End Date 4/5/2022 12:00:00 PM Due date for completion of work: June 21st, 2022 202202 Specifications: This project is for the maintenance and refreshment of armoring stone (i.e. crushed stone placement) on ditch slopes at Pickerel Creek Wildlife Area, Townsend Township, Sandusky County, Ohio (figure 1). Bidders will be expected to provide all crushed stone and staging areas are available for stockpiling stone and equipment nearby the project area (figure 1). The contractor is expected to repair any damage from burrowing rodents and wave action and smooth the slopes, repairing ditch banks back to the original 2:1 slope in preparation for armor stone. The stone must be placed and compacted so that down-slope migration is minimized. Below are the priority areas and associated specifications: o Priority 1 (red) - East Side Slope - Place #1 & #2 limestone riprap along the ditch slopes between the elevations of 571.00 feet MSL and 576.00 feet MSL, between 6 inches and 8 inches thick. - Approximate length of ditch bank to be fortified = 4,800 linear feet - Utilize Staging Area 1 for additional stone stockpiling - *NOTE: Transport routes north of Staging Area 1 in figure 1 may require transport with a tracked hauling vehicle.
