Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cresco, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The extent of the work involved is as follows: Runway Drainage Improvements including subdrain installation, full-depth concrete pavement patching, and pavement marking at the Cresco Municipal Airport. Proposals will be acted on by the City of Cresco at a meeting to be held at City Hall at 130 North Park Place, Cresco, Iowa 52136, at 5:30 P.M. local time on April 4, 2022, or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. The City of Cresco reserves the right to award the Contract at the time of said meeting or at such later time may then be fixed and to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities and to enter into such Contract as it shall deem to be for the best interests of said Owner. The work under the contract shall actively commence within ten (10) days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Submittals shall be received within thirty (30) calendar days after award of contract and all work on the project shall be completed within twenty (20) working days after commencement of the construction activities. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded at the April 4, 2022 council meeting with a Notice to Proceed to be issued as soon as contract documents and bonds can be executed. Each proposal must be accompanied with a bid security as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in a form acceptable to the Jurisdiction, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract. The City of Cresco reserves the right to award the Contract at the time of said meeting or at such later time may then be fixed and to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities and to enter into such Contract as it shall deem to be for the best interests of said Owner.
