The Engineers estimate: $79,634.00 ROAD NAME: Various roads. Village of Frazeysburg Basin St (3rclSt to 1st St) 0.16 miles x 26 ft x 1.5 inches (203 tons, 244 gals), Basin St (1st St to Canal St) 0.16 miles x 22 ft x 1.5 inches (172 tons. 207 gals), Canal St (Basin St to Vlg Corp.) 0.27 miles x 20 ft x 1.5 inches (264 tons, 317 gals), 448 Contingency tons = 64 tons. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and tools necessary to complete the asphalt paving complete in place on roadway acceptable to the county engineer. All materials shall meet current O.D.O.T. Specifications and shall come from a source certified by O.D.O.T. All equipment shall meet current O.D.O.T. Specifications. The contractor shall clean and otherwise prepare the surface for paving. The contractor shall place a butt joint across the entire width of the roadway to provide a level transition from new asphalt to existing pavement. Butt joints and feathering at bridges and intersections should comply with ODOT standard construction drawing BP-3.1. *The contractor shall mill the entire width of roadway a nominal thickness of 1.5" on Basin Street between 3rd and Canal Streets to provide a level transition of the new surface to the concrete curb and/or gutter. The cost to perform this additional planing shall be included in the price per ton of Asphalt Concrete. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions.
