Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bristol, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Reconstruct the section of Highway K from 94th Court heading west to the trailer court, approximately 115th Avenue. This project is the second phase of the reconstruction of Highway K from the high school near Highway 31 west to near I-94. This section of two-lane roadway is not sufficient to handle the increase in traffic that will result from new local development or to accommodate access to/from businesses located on Highway K. Design will occur first with construction to follow. This project will be substantially funded by inter-governmental revenue (STP Funds) and ARPA funding. As of January 19, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase. An engineer has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. The project is included in the Kenosha County's FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
