Renovation of a detention facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is the demolition of all gas-fired water heaters, vent fans and vending, expansion tank, associates' piping, and supply fan, as well as the removal of existing stored water heaters; the installation of new gas-fired water heaters, vent piping, storage tanks, and expansion tank; integration of the new water heaters with the existing Building automation system. Electrical work for this project will include power wiring for the new plumbing equipment and the new DDC control system. The Guilford County Detention Center will remain occupied during the course of construction. This is not a public bid opening Respondents or their sub-contractors must be licensed to perform all filed of required work in North Carolina. Participation of minority-owned and women-owned businesses is encouraged. A Bid Deposit is NOT required for this Project. Guilford County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. During the bidding period questions will be taken until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022
