City of East Cleveland announces a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for vendors to participate in the citywide grass cutting and maintenance service which includes: Removal of debris from residential and commercial parcels and right of ways standard grass cutting and maintenance, and heavy grass cutting and maintenance. In the case a corporation is not chartered in Ohio with a proper certificate, it must show proof that it is authorized to do business in Ohio. The letter should specify the trade of interest. Deadline for all respondents' questions shall be March 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM. All questions must be in written form and sent by email to ciyahen@eastcleveland.org. Absolutely no questions accepted after deadline. Note to potential bidders, (20%) of the total amount of the contract awarded under this request for proposal shall be expended by the contractor to employ bona fide residents of the City of East Cleveland to work on the project(s) for which these funds are designated. These programs are federally funded and will require federal regulations and /or statutes to be followed by the successful bidder with the executed contract. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, service and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, the Contractor compliance Opportunity Requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1872 and the Governor's Order 84-9 shall be required. The City of East Cleveland reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid, which it deems most favorable to the City.
