Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Entiat, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
As of May 14, 2025 this project went out to bid but has been abandoned. Proposed Project: Sun Cove Fire Station The fire district plans to construct a fire station (Sun Cove Fire Station) to serve as fire district as a branch fire station. It will include a reception area, office, restroom, training room, (3) bays to accommodate a brush truck, fire engine and fire tender. There should be adequate space for storage of gear and additional supplies as well as a kitchenette. There is an expectation that Sun Cove Fire Station will balance a financially conservative nature with the desire to build a station that is aesthetically appealing conforming with the neighborhood. This station may include living quarters for four resident firefighters or should be designed for this future addition. This may part of the station or in an adjacent structure.
