Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work shall generally consist of: Morton Avenue - Installation of a new 8, 6, and 4 diameter PVC water mains and abandonment of an existing 6 water main and appurtenances. The new mains will consist of approximately 273 LF of 8, 175 LF of 6, 15 LF of 4 trenched water mains and approximately 916 LF of 8 horizontally directional drilled water main. Included with the work will be connections to existing mains, new valves, hydrant installations, line stops, block/plug of existing mains, 24 LF of 24 storm sewer removal and replacement, pavement removal and replacement and 2 service reconnections. Finley Street - Installation of approximately 1,350 LF of new 6diameter trenched PVC water mains and abandonment of existing small diameter water mains. Included with the work will be connections to existing mains, new valves, hydrant installations, block/plug of existing mains, pavement removal & replacement, service reconnections and lead service line replacements. Prospect Street (Alternate Bid) - Installation of approximately 690 LF of new 6 diameter trenched PVC water mains and abandonment of existing small diameter water mains. Included with the work will be connections to existing mains, new valves, hydrant installations, block/plug of existing mains, pavement removal & replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, and service reconnections.
