Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the bid closing time for their receipt, at which time all interested persons are entitled to attend the bid opening. No Bid will be considered unless it is in complete accordance with the instruction to bidders and is submitted upon the official bid form provided to prospective bidders (included in the bid documents). Within twenty-four hours after the issuance of the Owner's notice of intent to award the Contract, and prior to the date of execution of the Contract, the Bidder shall furnish evidence satisfactory to the Owner of its ability to obtain statutory bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder in the form and amount prescribed in the Contract Documents. The cost of such bond shall be included in the Base Bid.
