Questions Due from Bidders March 23, 2022 The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) seeks bids from qualified contractors for the removal of existing roof top supply and exhaust fans and install new supply and exhaust system according to the plans and specifications; this includes associated ductwork, steam lines, and drain lines that are shown in the drawings. The contractor is also responsible for the electrical hook up and building management controls installation and coordination. Additional requirements include roof cutting and patching and installation of safety guardrails and associated work that may not specifically be named here. -There is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal established for this project of 23%. - General Contractors shall perform a minimum of 20% of the total contracted value of the work using their own workforce. Prime Contractor/General Contractor certified as DBE's shall perform a minimum of 30% of the total contracted value using their own workforce.
