SE Project No. G22-003 The successful Bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the above Owner and to furnish all the materials, perform all of the work, supervise, coordinate, administrate and be responsible for the work. A cashier's or certified check, payable without recourse to LIVINGSTON PARISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS or acceptable surety proposal bond in an amount not less than 5% and of the largest possible bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds in forms as outlined in the Specifications. A performance and payment bonds in an amount of 100% of the contract will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder, and all costs in connection with such bonds shall be paid by the successful bidder. Be sure to include your valid Louisiana Contractors License Number in the email, and you will be added to the Prime Bidders list. Those contractors that do not supply a valid Louisiana Contractors License Number will not be added to the Prime Bidders List. The Contractor shall certify that he is licensed under R.S. 37:2150-2192 and show his license number and contract name on the bid envelope. The project includes the construction of a 2-story addition which will have a steel frame and load bearing masonry shear walls with a footprint of approximately 7,200 square feet. Maximum column and wall loads are expected to be less than 150 kips and 2 1/2 kips per linear foot, respectively. New paved parking areas will be provided on the north and south sides of the addition as well as a delivery and dumpster area off of Elizabeth Coxe Street. The geotechnical recommendations presented in this report are based on the available project information, building location, and subsurface materials described in this report. If any of the noted information is incorrect, please inform SE in writing so that we may amend the recommendations presented in this report if appropriate and if desired by the client. SE will not be responsible for the implementation of its recommendations when it is not notified of changes in the project.
