Demolition and site work for a residential development in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
It is the intent of The Glenbard Wastewater Authority (Authority) to enter into an Agreement with a Contractor for the full site demolition, disposal, and restoration of the Authority-owned single-family residential dwelling and lot located in unincorporated DuPage County at 1S641 Bemis Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. The scope shall include, but is not limited to, the complete demolition of the house, all related internal components to the house, demolition of free-standing garage, and demolition of an additional free-standing shed in the rear yard; final site restoration will include fill, compaction, grading, and seeding. All questions concerning the bid document or specifications must be submitted via email. A written response will then be provided to all known bidders and made available to the public. No interpretations, clarifications or addenda will be issued after the fourth day prior to the scheduled bid opening. All contractors and subcontractors bidding for work involving fixed works constructed for public use, for public work, or otherwise undertaking public works, must pay prevailing wages as required by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). The Glenbard Wastewater Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Authority.
