Site work for a road / highway in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project includes widening of 2.5 kilometre section of Alaska Highway #1 from km 1419.6 to km 1422.1 within the City of Whitehorse and adding a pedestrian signal and crosswalk at Alaska Highway #1 and Hillcrest Drive intersection. The work consists of but is not limited to: clearing, grubbing, construction of subgrade, coordinate relocation of utilities, asphalt milling, asphalt pulverization full depth reclamation, applying tack and prime coat, Granular “E” subbase course supply and placement, Granular “A” base course supply and placement, warm mix asphalt concrete pavement supply and construction, line and thermoplastic pavement painting, lights standard base removal and installation, traffic control and environmental compliance.
