** This project has been officially awarded to Seattle Diving Services in the amount of $157,286. ** Project Location-The project is primarily on, within, and near Clarks Creek in Puyallup, WA and unincorporated Pierce County The 2022 Clarks Creek Elodea Management project shall provide for harvesting and disposal of aquatic weed growth in an approximate 16,175 linear-foot project area of Clarks Creek. Harvesting will be accomplished by Diver-Assisted Suction Harvesting (DASH) using City-supplied equipment: DASH and BARGE BOATS. Review of the BOATS will be made available during the (optional) information project meeting described below. The contractor may need to provide additional equipment, or supplement city-owned equipment, to complete the work and to comply with all safety standards. This shall be at the contractor's expense. The contract work includes all materials, equipment, labor, property access, and coordination necessary to complete the contract work within the permitted inwater work window described in the project documents. The Engineer's estimated range for this project is between $180,000 to $220,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
