Renovation of an educational facility in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to demolition and disposal of an existing 16'-6" diameter metal observatory dome, complete; installation of a new 16'-6" diameter metal observatory dome, complete; including new electronically operated upper shutter and lower shutter, new electronically operated azimuth drive with new drum switches and contactor bars, and three (3) newmotors that support the shutters and azimuth drive, one (1) each. All exterior surfaces of the dome that will be exposed to weather shall be primed and painted locally, without affecting the function of the observatory dome. The contract time for this project shall be 180 consecutive calendar days
