Alachua County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from licensed professionals (hereinafter, referred to as Consultants) for the provision of Solar Photovoltaic Systems for the Alachua County Health Department for the benefit of Facilities Management Department. One year of reports shall be included. o O&M training shall be provided to County employees. o Warranties shall be 25-years on the panels, 5 years for other components. o There is currently a solicitation for re-roofing the building. The awarded vendor is responsible to install the solar panels without compromising the roof warranty. Coordination may be made with the awarded roofing vendor to assist in the installation of any solar components or a separate vendor that is factory authorized for the roofing material may be used for any roofing work to prevent invalidating the roof warranty. o Two sets of O&M manuals will be provided. o The scope does not exclude penetrations of the roof for securing the panels and equipment, but the preferred method would be to used ballast material
