Renovation of a municipal facility in Murphysboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project description: Exterior stair replacement including removal of all concrete stairs and landings, railing, and other associated items, and install new reinforced concrete stairs, landings, railing, and associated accessories. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be either certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Within ten (10) days immediately following date of his receipt of this contract, Contractor shall furnish Owner the signed Contract and Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond as required by and in accordance with the terms of Contract Documents in a penal sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
