CR Number: 2084994 The New York State Department of Transportation, is assisting Greenman-Pedersen, Inc (GPI), in the selection and retention of a Subcontractor, to provide concrete coring, testing and related services for the Bridges over American Rapids to Goat Island, Contract in Niagara County, Region 5 under Contract D031136. The selected Subcontractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment to obtain structural cores in accordance with AASHTO T-24. Thirty (30) cores are anticipated but may be modified by the direction of the Engineer. Representative cores would be tested for compressive strength, chlorides, and petrographic analysis. The Engineer shall determine which cores are designated for each test. The project duration is from execution of the subcontractor agreement (anticipated in April 2022) until June 30, 2022. It should be noted that the field work will be performed in April and May of 2022. It is estimated that 1 week of field work will be required for each bridge. GPI has a prime contract with the NYSDOT, Contract No. D031136. All applicable provisions of the prime contract apply to the subcontract. GPI reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, to invite for new bid proposals and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Insurance: Insurance requirements are as follows, and shall be in accordance with the specifications in the Bid Documents: Policies of Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance; Policies of Automobile and Truck Insurance; Workmen's Compensation Insurance; All Subcontractor's. Permits: The Subcontractor is responsible in procuring all permits necessary to perform work. It is anticipated that permits may be required from the New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0%
