Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salina, Kansas. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Salina (City) requests statements of experience, qualifications and interest from consulting engineers for the above referenced project(s). In cooperation with development and possible funding for these arterial roadways, the City needs to have these projects to preliminary design and estimates stage by September 1, 2022. Design plans for these roadways are intended to be consistent with the 2010 City of Salina Comprehensive Plan. The City anticipates a two-lane roadway with concrete hike/bike trail on one side and sidewalk on the other. West Magnolia may have median/turn lanes for the enhanced impact street section. Proposals for should be no more than five (5) pages for each project or ten (10) pages total (if submitting for both) and may include but not be limited to the following items. Cover letter, qualifications and references Project approach, management and capacity to meet the preliminary plan schedule Identification of a principal point of contact and up to primary staff that will perform the work (with respective qualifications) The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
