A. Site preparation for the construction of 2 new pre-fabricated shade structures. 1. Location #1 - USD 305 Salina Education Center, 219 S. 3 rd Street, Salina, KS 2. Location #2 - USD 305 Heartland Early Education Center, 700 Jupiter, Salina, KS B. Fencing, posts, and all associated components for modification to existing fence, with new fence to secure site and playground. C. Concrete sidewalks and slabs at various site areas for pedestrian access to shelter areas and around playground. D. Construction of shelter/pavilion footings and foundations. 1. Foundations systems shall be designed by the shelter manufacturer. Manufacturer shall provide sealed drawings from a Kansas licensed structural engineer prior to construction. Drawings shall be submitted to the City of Salina for approval prior to construction of footings. E. Gutter and downspout shall be provided and installed by the General Contractor as indicated on the drawings. Note, the specified basis of design for the buildings does not provide and install gutter/downspout. Pre-Bid Conference is not scheduled for this project.
