Renovation of a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The UIHC - Replace Windows project will replace select windows on the Stead Family Children's Hospital (SFCH). This project scope will include replacement of windows on floors 3 through 12 of the SFCH. This project does not include window replacement on the SFCH connecting bridge to JPP. Notifications to "Short-Listed" Proposers: Tuesday April 12, 2022 RFP Proposals Due (via Bid Express): Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 2:01 PM Central Time Interviews and Opening of Cost Proposals: Monday May 9, 2022 The CMaR is required to furnish a Performance and Payment surety Bond on the Owner's form, in the amount of 100% of the GMP, as security for faithful performance of the Agreement and for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials for the Work. The University of Iowa (Owner) is currently in the Study Phase of a project titled UIHC - Replace Windows and has been authorized by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa to proceed with procurementof Construction Manager Services where the Construction Manager is at-Risk. The Owner intends to retain a Construction Management firm to join the project team during the Design Phase and to continue through the Construction Phase, occupancy, and warranty period of the project. The Owner is requesting submissions from firms who can demonstrate they have resources, experience, and qualifications to provide Construction Management Services for the project.
