Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of the Weber Elementary Bus Loop Replacement Project. Work includes removal of asphalt pavement, subbase, and concrete sidewalk. Installation of granular base and concrete pavement along with PCC patching of existing parking lot. Project also includes all site preparation, site grading, erosion control measures, site restoration, and other related work.. Bids security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Information for Bidders. Liquidated Damages: $500 per day No pre-bid meeting is scheduled. Products and materials incorporated in the Work of this Project are exempt from Iowa sales tax and local option sales tax. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment bond will be required in the full amount of the contract. All work on the contract must be complete by August, 5th, 2022. Bidders shall list on the Form of Proposal the names of persons, firms, companies or other parties with whom the bidder intends to subcontract. This list shall include the type of work and approximate subcontract amount(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
