A Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), payable to the City of Woonsocket, must accompany each proposal. The Certified Check or Bid Bonds will be returned to all but the successful bidder upon execution of the contract. The Certified Check or Bid Bond of the successful bidder will be returned upon acceptance of a Performance and Payment bond by the City. A Performance and Payment Bond of Twenty Thousand dollars ($20,000), with a satisfactory surety company, will be required of the successful bidder. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired should call the Finance Director at 401-762-6400 seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the bid opening. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of the relative merits of the bid in addition to the price. The City of Woonsocket reserves the right to reject any and all responses, or parts thereof, to waive any irregularity in the responses received and to accept the responses or parts thereof deemed to be most favorable to THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY.
