The Schuylkill Technology Center is currently inviting bids for the installation of a ceiling in the hallways at the STC North Campus. The Schuylkill Technology Center Boards of Directors, reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, which will, in the opinion of the Board, best serve the students Project Description: Install a 2x2 acoustical ceiling in the hallways at the North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center. The project includes removing existing light fixtures and installing LED Flat Panel Light Fixtures and installing brake metal flashing along ceiling edge. Scope of Work: o Disconnect, remove, and dispose of (66) existing surface mounted fixtures o Install (66) 2 x 2 LED Flat Panel Troffer in new ceiling grid o Install Furring and cap side returns with brake metal flashing 15/16" to cover existing textured wall (16" X 1020') o Install Acoustical Ceiling Grid in corridors #1 & #2 with Armstrong 2 x 2 regular ceiling tiles; Hallway Dimensions approximately 10' X 480'; Additionally, there are twenty (20) alcoves measuring 5' X 15' and one (1) measuring 5' X 20'. o Install furring and 1/2 " drywall in vaulted ceiling areas; Tie into existing drywall in skylight areas o Install Ceiling lag toggles for grid installation in existing plaster lath ceiling o Construction cleanup
