The Oconee County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from Contractors interested in the design/build of the renovation of the County's Frank Norris Building located at 1110 Experiment Station Road Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. Contractor will be responsible for providing the design, budget options, materials, and construction services for this project. Questions regarding this RFP shall be received in writing via email no later than 5:00 PM on April 4, 2022. Responses will be provided via addenda no later than 5:00 PM on April 4, 2022. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and a Consent of Surety must be enclosed in bid submissions at the time of the bid opening. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of agreement, a Performance and Payment bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the total agreement amount can be furnished. *Surety companies executing bonds must be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia. The OCBOC reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part if Oconee County determines that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the County. RFPs are legal and binding upon the Respondent when submitted. It will also be the responsibility of each Respondent to obtain any addenda issued from the Purchasing Office. The written RFP documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties.
