Health Sciences & Public Safety Complex: To design a training facility for both the health science programs (Nursing, Health Information, etc.) and a public safety training programs (EMS, Emergency Management, BLET, Fire) that would allow inter-professional collaboration and learning to take place, simulating realworld scenarios and collaborative practice to prepare graduates for their careers. Multipurpose Building: A large multipurpose building, including a large gymnasium designed with a multipurpose function (e.g. large conference events) to assist MTCC and the two early colleges to offer more quality physical education courses and extracurricular events. The larger multipurpose area could also attract larger events to be hosted at the college to drive economic development and tourism dollars. The building would also allow for an increased number of general classrooms/labs to positively impact the college's capacity to expand current and future programs aligned with workforce projections. MTCC Administration has discussed the possibility of combining these priorities to create a multifunctional facility that serves both purposes.
