The Douglas County Board of Commissioners (County) is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to submit proposals to provide an update to the 2014 to 2018 Comprehensive Plan. Douglas County seeks to prepare a local Comprehensive Plan pursuant to the Rules of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Chapter 110-12-1, Standards and Procedures for Local Comprehensive Planning, also known as the "Local Planning Requirements." The Local Planning Requirements shall be the minimum standards, and emphasis will be placed on additional areas identified in the scope of work. All information for interested bidders may be obtained at the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Director located on the third floor of the Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia or on the Douglas County website, www.celebratedouglascounty.com under the Purchasing Department. Each response should be marked: "Sealed Bid - Comprehensive Plan Update, Solicitation No. 22-007, 4/25/2022." Douglas County reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to evaluate bids, to accept portions of any bid, and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to add to or delete from the contract after the contract has been awarded.
