Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to replace remove and replace the two sets of hangar doors at Hangar 130 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors with a size standard of $39.5M. Statement of Magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is a Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following, the new hangar doors will be replaced with new structural steel frame, insulated hangar doors rated to 150 mph with impact rated windows. Provide four insulated hollow metal personnel doors with half glass windows, equipped with closers and panic hardware. Install new door openers. Remove and replace hangar door electrical circuits. Replace existing rails and install new rail drainage system that ties into the existing storm water drainage system IAW Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-211-01. New hangar doors shall match the look of the existing historic doors and windows.
