City desires to engage Consultant to render janitorial and day porter services. The Civic Center includes 5 buildings - City Hall/ Community Policing Center, Community Center, Senior Center, Council Chamber/ Performing Arts Center, and Parking Structure. The contract does not require prevailing wage rates. The City estimates 2 Day Porters and 4 Custodians are necessary to fulfill the scope of this project. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal(s) exceptions or changes to the Agreement or Request for Proposal. By submitting proposals, the proposer agrees to all of the terms of the RFP and Agreement. The Lake Forest City Hall and Civic Center campus has specific hours of operation. City Hall and the Administrative Offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The Community Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am to10:00pm and also on Saturday and Sundays from 10:00am to 6:00pm with the options for room rentals with extended hours until 12:00am (Saturdays and Sundays). This contract will not include janitorial services for room rentals. The Performing Arts Center hosts City Council and Commission meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and local schools and theater companies will be able to rent the facility for theatrical productions on Saturdays and Sundays with varied hours until 10:00pm. The contract will not include janitorial services for facility rentals. The Policing Center is in operation 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, the Public Service Counter is open between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
