Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia ( 2.2-4330). Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to All Contractors are hereby advised that a portion of this project is funded from the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF). Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin and Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders. must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Bidders must also comply with the Davis- Bacon Act and other requirements more particularly described in the Bid Documents. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia,2.2-4343.1. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit Bids. Question Deadline 12/01/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing using the Pre-Bid Question Form provided herein.
