This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Tazewell, Virginia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Successful bidders would be awarded a five-year contract for daily transport of waste from one, more than one, or all, of the eight sites located across the County, to the Tazewell County Municipal Landfill located on Lynn Hollow Road, west of Bluefield, Virginia. Bidders may submit bids for one, more than one, or a separate bid for all of the sites. The County may elect to accept the lowest bid for transporting from all sites or may award separate contracts for one or more of the sites, whichever is in the best interest of the county. A package containing additional information, including the location of the Convenience sites will be provided at the time of the meeting. The envelope must be clearly marked "Waste Collection" and addressed to Kenneth Dunford Jr. Director of Engineering 173 Main Street, Tazewell VA 24651 Questions concerning the bid or pre-bid conference should be submitted by email to kdunford@tazewellcounty.org. Successful bidders will be required to post a bond to secure their performance of the work. The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any informality, to reject any and all bids if it appears in Tazewell County's best interest to do so, and accept only that bid deemed to be in the best interest of Tazewell County, Virginia.
