The City of Tea, SD, requests formal bids for the 2022 Mill & Surface Rehab Project in Tea, SD. In accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of the Plans and Specifications shall be furnished, without charge, to each Contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project. This project consists of asphalt milling and asphalt paving along E. Brian Street, W. Brian Street, Atkins Drive, N. James Avenue, James Circle, and Lisa Circle with applicable traffic control. The Bid Proposal Guarantee will be retained by the OWNER as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into an Agreement within twenty (20) days after Notice of Award or fails at time of executing the contract to furnish a Contract Performance Bond guaranteeing the faithful performance of the work. A Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder prior to beginning work. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Tea reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Tea, SD.
