Site work and paving for a civil project in Amherst, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of April 19,2022, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. Cleveland Avenue Utility Improvements Amherst, OhioIn accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Bramhall Engineering and Surveying Company (the Engineer), the project consists of sanitary sewer replacement, sanitary manhole removal and replacement, storm sewer improvements, maintenance of traffic, temporary pavement restoration, and lawn restoration. Questions by prospective bidders concerning this project should be directed to Bramhall Engineering & Surveying Co., Aaron Appell, P.E., in writing, ataappell@bramhallengineering.com. or by fax at (440)934-7879. If the City determines to award the contract, the City will award it based on the lowest and best bid as determined in the discretion of the City. Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lorain County and the City of Amherst, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor & Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Bureau, (614) 644-2239. The Owner intends that all work in the roadway be completed on or before May 20, 2022. Lawn, sidewalk, and drive restoration shall be completed on or before June 10, 2022. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
