Site work and paving for a civil project in Amherst, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of asphalt roadway resurfacing, asphalt overlay of concrete roadways, full depth pavement repairs, utility casting adjustments, minor driveway repairs, maintenance of traffic and lawn restoration. Bids Must Be Submitted on the Bid Form Contained in the Contract Documents. If the City Determines to Award the Contract, the City Will Award It Based on the Lowest and Best Bid as Determined in the Discretion of the City. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities Therein. Prevailing Wage Rates Are Applicable to This Project. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Lorain County and the City of Amherst, Ohio as Determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor & Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Bureau, (614) 644-2239. The Owner requires that all paving activities be completed on or before August 18th, 2023, and all other final work for the project, including punch list items, be completed on or before September 22nd 2023. Bidding Documents must be purchased from the Owner to be considered an eligible bidder.
