Site work for a road / highway in Hudson's Hope, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The District of Hudson's Hope is requesting proposals for the Rehabilitation of Gaylor Avenue, Thompson Avenue and Kruger Street. The intent of this project, is to complete: For Gaylor Avenue: Removal of existing Asphalt Pavement, Reshaping the existing granular roadbed, included hauling of gravel from the District gravel pit if additional gravel needs for reshaping this layer. 100mm new base course. 75mm asphalt paving layer and 300mm wide granular shoulder on each side. For Thompson Avenue and Kruger Street: Complete a 50 mm asphalt base repair layer to address all existing damaged and potholes areas, Removal of existing crack sealings and reseal all cracks and 50mm asphalt overlay. The successful proponent will need to haul gravels from the District gravel pit, around 8km from the site. District staff will be responsible to load gravels on hauling trucks at the District gravel pit.
