Renovation of a recreation facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
The Saint Louis Zoo is currently accepting proposals for a Lutron lighting upgrade system for Penguin and Puffin Coast. The current Lutron lighting system was installed in 2002/2003 when the building first opened. Through the years, the Zoo has had a few service calls on the system, but no major work performed. Since the system is now 20 years old, it needs an upgrade to current Lutron system parameters. This building houses penguins and alcids; birds which rely heavily on lighting systems for proper molting, breeding and overall welfare. The Zoo currently utilizes the following lighting types; fluorescent, metal halides and halogen lamps. The Zoo is looking for a company who is well versed in the Lutron system to ensure compatibility with our current system to complete this upgrade. The company will work with the Zoo's current IT and Facilities Management departments to make the necessary upgrades. Questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted via email to Candace Bingham, Director of Procurement at cbingham@stlzoo.org. All questions must be received by April 5, 2022 for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous.
