The intent of this Request for Proposal is to establish an agreement to provide HVAC Services on a nonexclusive basis to the Saint Louis Zoo as a preferred vendor, as required for a term of two (2) years with an option for two (2) additional years. All pricing for the core items are to remain firm for the first two (2) years of the contract, and thereafter are subject to adjustment for each subsequent year upon approval of the authorized representative of the Saint Louis Zoo - Chiller experience: Prefer factory trained for Trane chiller with software. - Boiler experience IE: Aerco, Knight, Lochinvar, Mod Con, also cast iron boilers. - Experiences in building automation IE: Siemens, Trane, Automated Logic, KE2 Therm. - Refrigeration experience: Including food service, both hot and cold side. Major manufacturer equipment brands on sight include Trane, Diakin, York and Carrier, with several other smaller manufactured equipment brands such as, Bohn, American Standard. Heat Craft and York. It should be noted that there are numerous boilers, chillers, cooling towers, roof top units, make-up air units, and residential DX units. For any work that may become necessary in the Elephant Management Facility, the technician(s) will need to have a current TB test. The Zoo does not administer it & is not responsible for the expense. Results take approximately 72 hours. All questions must be received by May 18, 2022 for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous. Addendums will be placed on the Zoo website as they become available electronically. Any oral responses shall be unofficial and not binding on the Zoo. Bids having an acceptance time limit of less than 30 days may be rejected. The Saint Louis Zoo reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept any Proposal, should it deem such action to be in its interests.
