Site work for a water / sewer project in Key West Nas, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) desires to retain a licensed, qualified Consultant to provide the scope of services described below. This Qualifications Package provides guidelines for the submission of letters of interest and Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The purpose of the project is to install a parallel pipe to the existing 30" steel submerged transmission main that crosses Snake Creek in Islamorada. The goal is to provide redundance and reduce the vulnerability of the transmission system by installing an additional 36" HDPE main via horizontal directional drill (approximately 800 LF) directly parallel with the bridge. The FKAA selection committee will evaluate the submittals and make a final selection of the most qualified consulting firm. A recommendation for approval to begin negotiations with the selected consulting firm will be made to the FKAA Board of Directors on May 24, FKAA reserves the right to modify all or any portion of Qualifications Package that it deems acceptable, reject any and all Qualifications Package, and to waive minor irregularities in the evaluation process. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
