Alpine School District is seeking a contractor to prepare a site including asphalt to install a modular building at Frontier Middle School. The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide: Site preparation and modification for the installation of a modular building at Frontier Middle School. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code. All questions must be submitted through SciQuest (U3P) during the Question and Answer period. Pursuant to State of Utah Code 63G-6a-504 bid security requirements, bid security in the amount equal to at least 5% of the bid shall be required for all competitive sealed bidding for construction contracts Length of the Contract The contract resulting from this RFP will be for the duration of this project. Background Frontier Middle School is in need of additional space and as such is adding a modular building to the site. They need construction services related to a 14 classroom modular unit, including utilities, a new asphalt pad, and related site work The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following; new asphalt building pad, storm drainage system, new underground utilities including sewer, water, and gas, landscaping, concrete sidewalks, patch and repair of existing site. The building pad and all underground utilities will need to be ready for the modular building to arrive on the date shown below. All other outstanding items are to be completed by the construction completion date shown below.
