September 3,2024, project was awarded to Jimmy R. Lynch & Sons, awarded amount is $2,620,662.63. The Scope of Work for this project is: Construction of approximately 13,420 LF of 8-inch ductile iron (DI) water line with fittings, valves and other appurtenances, a pressure reducing station, up to 55 private service connections, 140 LF of 18-inch steel casing via bore and jack (two NCDOT road crossings, and one crossing of a retaining wall and driveway), 40 LF of 18-in steel casing via open cut (one NCDOT road crossing), one temporary stream crossing via pump-around, and groundwater dewatering as necessary for excavation. The project corridor spans between Rural Hall and Germanton along North Carolina Highway 65 in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
