The selected experienced and qualified planning firm(s) will be tasked to provide Planning and Monitoring Support for the Calabazas/San Tomas Aquino Creek Marsh Connection Project. The consultant will conduct planning studies and monitoring in support of the Calabazas and San Tomas Aquino (STA) Creeks Marsh Connection Project and prepare conceptual alternatives report, feasible alternatives report, and planning study report in compliance with requirements of Valley Water Planning Phase WBS Item Descriptions W-730-124 (Rev. P, 2/14/19). The planning studies will evaluate the full range of conceptual approaches described in Valley Water's Feasibility Report. In addition to conducting planning studies, the consultant will provide monitoring support including environmental data collection to support CEQA/NEPA document preparation and project planning and design and prepare the Monitoring Work Plan and Adaptative Management Plan, Consultant services do not include preparation of CEQA/NEPA documentation. Refer to RFP Section 1.12 Conflict of Interest for Future Services. The Proposer will provide the services in accordance with Section 5. Preliminary Scope of Services. The agreement awarded under this RFP is funded by a grant for Measure AA which Valley Water received from the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (SFBRA). Because those grant funds are being used to pay for the Services, Consultant is required to adhere to certain SFBRA Contract Provisions, which are stated in Exhibit A, Sample Valley Water Agreement, Appendix One (Additional Legal Terms as Exhibit A, SFBRA Measure AA Grant Contract Provision Requirements), and incorporated into this Agreement by this reference. Consultant agrees to adhere to such applicable SFBRA Contract Provisions Requirements. Full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations will be required of the successful Proposer.
